Lamar Lighthouse Camp specializes in a very personal camping experience. Each staff member is hand picked and works with every camper. Team work and community are emphasized through various activities throughout each camping week. Each day at camp includes small group, large group and whole camp activities with well trained facilitators as well as multiple chapel and musical worship sessions. All teaching is based upon Biblical truth. All meals are eaten together and are prepared by a competent kitchen staff using home-cooked favorites.

     It was amazing to see how God moved in such a big way at camp last year.  It was a true testament to how He can do so much with what little we have to give Him.  We have decided to expand our camping program for the 2007 camping season to reach more people with the good news.  Our campers will come from different backgrounds: some growing up in the church with extensive Bible knowledge, and some who have never been to a church, but they will all have one thing in common:  they're looking for a week of fun at camp and they have been selected by God to hear His word and Truth at Lamar Lighthouse Camp.  Growth will occur an lives will be changed!
